Select Property Contract Status
Property Contract Status refers to the status of the listing as it reflects the state of the contract between the listing agent and seller or an agreement with a buyer. This could be an essential factor for what MLS listings you wish to import.
Internet Entire Listing Display & Internet Address display
It is essential to import and show only properties that are allowed to be shared on the internet. MLS Import gives you control over these two settings so that you import only allowed listings.
FAQ
How do I control which MLS listings get imported in the “Select What Listings” section?
The MLS Import plugin section “Select What Listings” lets you filter what gets imported using multiple criteria at once. You can restrict imports by a minimum and maximum price, by specific cities and counties (pulled from your MLS data), by categories and types (also pulled from your MLS), and by the listing’s MLS status (for example Active, Coming Soon, Leased, etc.).
You can also filter by Property Contract Status, which reflects the state of the contract or agreement, and use the Internet Entire Listing Display and Internet Address display options to ensure you only import listings that are allowed to be shared online.
How does Property Title Format work during MLS import, and what do agents typically use?
Property Title Format controls how the property title is created during the import. You can build the title from any available MLS fields in any combination you want.
A common approach is to use the Address field, and optionally include ListingKey (the MLS unique ID) as part of the title. This helps keep titles recognizable to users while still including an MLS-specific identifier when needed.
What does selecting a global agent do, and how are contact emails handled?
Selecting a Real Estate Agent assigns that agent to all imported properties, and the selected agent will be available as the default contact agent on property pages. This is important for email communication because site inquiries route to the agent profile.
The agent dropdown is synchronized with the agents you create in your chosen real estate theme. When a visitor uses a contact form, the email is sent to the email address set in that agent’s profile.
Can I import only listings within a specific price range?
Yes. The “Select Price Between a Minim and Maxim Value” option lets you import only listings whose price falls within the minimum and maximum values you set.
This is useful if you only work a particular segment of the market, such as properties above a certain price point (for example, luxury residential or commercial listings).
What happens if a listing status changes to Closed, Expired, or Withdrawn after it was imported?
During the MLS auto-synchronization process, if a listing’s status changes to Canceled, Closed, Delete, Expired, or Withdrawn, the property is automatically removed from the properties list.
This behavior is tied to the MLS status data returned by your MLS, and it helps keep your imported inventory aligned with current MLS availability.
