ITSO runs the MLS for two Ontario boards. Its feed is gated. You get it through your board and your broker. The MLS Import list of feeds names "Information Technology Systems Ontario via Bridge." Try MLS Import free for 30 days. After that, it costs $49 a month.
Works with any WordPress theme.
Information Technology Systems Ontario (ITSO) is the MLS system for two Ontario boards. It is a not-for-profit organisation. ITSO is "wholly owned and controlled by its real estate association members" (ITSO KB301). It provides MLS tools to both the Cornerstone Association of REALTORS and the Brantford Regional Real Estate Board. ITSO also manages Professional Standards and Arbitration.
You cannot join ITSO directly. As ITSO states, "ITSO does not offer direct membership" (ITSO KB304). You must join either Cornerstone or Brantford. ITSO supports both.
ITSO was created in 2020, according to trade press (REM). It resulted from a merger between two groups: ORTIS and the Ontario Collective. In January 2019, they agreed to combine their systems (REM, 2019). Both operated on Matrix.
At its peak, ITSO had 23 associations and "more than 24,000 users" (REM, January 22, 2025). Most boards have since left. As of October 14, 2026, ITSO's live site showed 9,485 total users and 16,339 active listings (ITSO). ITSO defines total users as members, subscribers, appraisers, and admin users (ITSO digest, September 2026).
Agents use Matrix, OneHome, and CMA tools. Buyers view listings on REALTOR.ca and member websites. Ontario has multiple MLS systems. Toronto's TRREB runs PropTx, which is separate from ITSO. For collaboration with other Canadian boards, visit our Canada page.
Four boards joined to form it on July 1, 2024. They were RAHB, MREB, SDREB and WRAR. It "brought together almost 9,000 realtors" (REM). It has offices in Hamilton, Mississauga, Simcoe and Waterloo.
Its short name is BRREA. Its MLS runs on ITSO. Questions about MLS access go to [email protected] (ITSO KB301).
ITSO is getting smaller. Many boards have moved to PropTx (REM, January 2025). In June 2026, ITSO announced it would remove old data from its system (ITSO digest, June 2026).

Where to look (REM) Ask your board
TRREB has its own system called PropTx. The Ottawa board "was not an ITSO member," according to REM (REM).
ITSO has no direct membership. You get access through Cornerstone ([email protected]). You can also go through BRREA ([email protected]) (ITSO KB304).
A Super Subscriber can enter interboard listings. Any REALTOR can be one. A Standard Subscriber can read only. Neither one includes IntraMatrix. Neither one sends listings to REALTOR.ca or other public sites (ITSO).
The Broker of Record or a Bridge Authority must open the EULA first. Then others in the office can start (ITSO KB201). The brokerage stays responsible for how MLS data is used (KB205).
Rule 7.07 lets a listing brokerage refuse IDX display. If it does, none of its members may run an IDX (ITSO MLS Rules, KB204).
ITSO's MLS Rules took effect July 1, 2026. Rule 7.03 says any member who follows the rules "may operate IDXs, VOWs, or both." Rule 7.04 adds that you need your brokerage's consent. Your brokerage also oversees the site (ITSO MLS Rules).
Are you a subscriber, not a member? ITSO's steps name only REALTORS, Brokers of Record and Bridge Authorities. Ask ITSO before you plan on a subscriber login.
ITSO sends its data through Bridge. In ITSO's words, "Public signup does not grant an ITSO dataset" (ITSO KB203). ITSO has two main routes to a feed. A broker can also pick a Consumer Facing Website (CFW) agreement for consumer sites. Internal office tools fall under the Back Office ATP Agreement (ITSO KB201).
A REALTOR follows these steps (ITSO KB201):
How does a vendor get on that list? ITSO invites each one by hand. ITSO sends no data until the first member names that vendor (ITSO KB203).
Sign in at www.itsorealestate.ca (ITSO KB201).
Open Bridge Agreement Management. Choose "Create new agreement."
Find the vendor in the "Authorized Tech Provider - ATP" list.
Accept the terms. Fill in the form. Pick only the feed types you need.
Select "Execute Agreement." The others on it get an email. They must sign too.
Only a Broker of Record or a Bridge Authority can ask for this one. It fits a brokerage that hosts its own site or app. Its own IT team runs it. There is no vendor in the middle.
The broker signs the In-House agreement. The others on it must sign their parts first. Then the broker opens "Setup API application." That gives them API keys. Those keys are for that brokerage only. A REALTOR can't ask for an In-House feed (ITSO KB201).
Email [email protected]. That is ITSO's data access address (ITSO KB203). Ask these four things:
1. Which route fits a WordPress plugin on a site the broker hosts?
2. Which feed types can that route use?
3. Is there a setup fee or a yearly fee for that route?
4. What happens to the agreement if the Broker of Record changes?
What it shows Active listings. Ad-level data. From all brokerages that take part.

Note ITSO MLS Rules 7.08: show only IDX Content
What it shows Active, Conditional, Pending, Closed, Expired, Cancelled and Suspended listings. Two years of sold prices. Co-op commission data.

Sold data comes only in the VOW feed. Visitors must log in to see it. A public IDX page can't show it (ITSO MLS Rules 7.06(g) and 7.08).
Check with your vendor first. A wrong pick "can cancel the agreement" (ITSO KB204).
A seller can keep a listing off every public site. They can do it while the home is open for showings. Then the listing shows only in Matrix (ITSO KB404).
Seller's name. Private and showing remarks. Access or security info. Mortgage info. Personal info of the seller or residents. A pending sale price with conditions not yet met or waived (ITSO MLS Policies 7.4, approved October 1, 2026).
ITSO's rules let a listing leave a VOW only while it is active. ITSO set this to follow a Competition Tribunal order (ITSO KB404).
ITSO runs Matrix, and RESO’s registry lists Matrix Web API as a Cotality system (RESO certification registry, read October 14, 2026). Matrix offers "more than 500 fields across property types" (ITSO).
In Matrix, a seller opt-out listing still exists. It won’t show on any public site (ITSO KB404). This means it can't appear on your WordPress site either.
Matrix is evolving for agents. ITSO has set October 6, 2026, for the Matrix 12.8 upgrade (ITSO digest, September 2026). This upgrade adds an option to Concierge mode on the new home screen. Agents can then send status and price changes in auto-emails to clients. This tool is for agents using Matrix. ITSO's note does not mention the feed.
Yes, ITSO has a RESO Web API. ITSO states, "WebAPI follows the RESO standard." Data comes through Bridge Agreement Management. RESO's certification registry shows ITSO as Passed for Data Dictionary 1.7 and Web API Core 2.0.0. "Passed" means ITSO met the tests.
RESO certification registry: Passed (Data Dictionary 1.7, Web API Core 2.0.0)
The registry does not list ITSO as certified. We checked this on October 14, 2026. ITSO's RESO number, M00000807, appears on RESO's group list (RESO list).
Where is the Web API located? According to ITSO, "ITSO uses Bridge for data access" (ITSO KB203). For vendors, the feed for your site comes through Bridge.
ITSO's April 2026 digest set June 2, 2026 for a change to RESO field names and values. An import tool maps RESO field names to the fields on your WordPress listings. When ITSO changes a RESO field or value, check your filters and labels.
What does the feed hand your site? On the vendor route, nothing until a member asks. A member names the vendor in Bridge Agreement Management at www.itsorealestate.ca. ITSO "does not provide a payload until the first member request comes in" (ITSO KB203).
Then the vendor opens API Access in Bridge, then API Access Tokens. There are four keys: a Client ID, a Client Secret, a Server Token and a Browser Token. Those keys must stay private. ITSO says never to put them in a public site or public code (ITSO KB203).
These come from the ITSO MLS Rules, Article 7. They took effect July 1, 2026 (ITSO MLS Rules).
7.05(l) Show the listing brokerage and agent. Use a clear colour and a spot people see. The type can't be smaller than the median type size.
7.05(k) Keep each listing as ITSO sends it. You may add more info if you say where it came from.
7.05(e) Some sellers ask you to hide the address, reviews or an automated value. Do what they ask.
7.05(g) Did you add info beyond ITSO's data? If the listing brokerage says it is false, fix it or take it down within 48 hours.
7.05(h) Refresh the data at least once a day. Take down data that is no longer current.
7.05(o) Name the MLS system as the source. Listings from another MLS or a non-member brokerage need their source named too. Thumbnails of 200 characters or less are exempt only if they link to a page with all notices.
7.05(p) Show three notices. One is a copyright notice. One says the data is for personal, non-commercial use. One says it is "deemed reliable but is not guaranteed accurate."
7.05(q) Link to a privacy policy. It must tell visitors how you collect, use and share their personal info, and get their consent. It must say you may share it with the Association.
7.05(b) Show an email, a phone number or another way to reach you.
7.05(m) Show no more than 100 current listings per search. Show no more than 100 off-market listings per search.
7.05(n) Showing other brands? Put your logo and contact info next to theirs, and make yours larger. Then ITSO presumes the co-branding is not misleading.
7.05(c), 7.05(i) Watch for scraping and other misuse of the data. Tell the association you plan to run an IDX or VOW. Ask ITSO or your board which one that is.
7.06 Each visitor signs up with a checked email and their own login. Visitors confirm or change their password every 180 days, unless you use multi-factor sign-in. Visitors click to accept your terms.
ITSO informed members in April about an upcoming field change. This change will update the accessibility fields in Matrix on June 2, 2026. Old values that don’t match RESO will be removed as selectable options (ITSO digest, April 2026).
In July, ITSO shared more details. It changed the names of all accessibility fields. "Two Storey" was dropped as a style, replaced by "Above Grade Storeys." Why? ITSO became a RESO member and is working towards RESO compliance (ITSO digest, July 2026).
In April, ITSO also announced two more changes for June 2 (ITSO digest, April 2026). It will add optional fields for "Above Grade Storeys" and "Total Storeys." The "Building Type" field will allow multiple selections. ITSO stated that the RESO change will help other platforms, like REALTOR.ca, read accessibility data more easily.
What does this mean for your site? Do your search filters use old values? Check them now. If you built a search filter on "Two Storey," verify it. Also, review your field labels.
IntraMatrix allows agents to view listings from partner MLSs inside Matrix. Agents can access this at no cost but cannot add or edit properties in the other market (REM, December 23, 2025).
ITSO partnered with the Miami REALTORS in December 2025. The first MLS in Georgia announced its link on August 4, 2026 (First MLS press release). The Victoria Real Estate Board is ITSO's fifth IntraMatrix partner and its first link to a board in another province. ITSO said it will be open to all users on October 6, 2026 (ITSO digest, September 2026).
Does this add listings to your WordPress feed? ITSO has not said so. IntraMatrix is a tool for members. Subscriber access "does not include IntraMatrix connections" (ITSO). ITSO's feed type page does not name partner listings. Ask ITSO if partner listings ever reach a feed. Until then, plan your site on Cornerstone and Brantford listings.
In January 2025, ITSO's chair spoke to REM. ITSO was made to share MLS data between boards that were not ready to merge. The chair said this purpose "may no longer be relevant." The boards left on ITSO had two more years under the current MLS Services Agreement. ITSO would review "the future of ITSO" in that time (REM, January 22, 2025).
In August 2026, ITSO's executive director spoke too. ITSO supports "a single provincial MLS database that Realtors can access through the MLS system of their choice" (REM, August 25, 2026).
ITSO has not announced a wind-down. It has not announced a merger. It still ships updates. As of October 14, 2026, it has not shared the result of its review. ITSO serves two associations today. Its future past the current agreement is not announced.
What does this mean for you? In January 2025, REM said ITSO would review its future "over the course of the next two years." Planning a long build? First ask your board where it plans to be after that.
Information Technology Systems Ontario (ITSO) data reaches a site through Bridge. Join Cornerstone or BRREA first. Then your Broker of Record signs the EULA (ITSO KB201). Ask [email protected] who approves your feed.
ITSO stands for Information Technology Systems Ontario. It is a not-for-profit. Its member boards own it. It runs the Matrix MLS for the Cornerstone Association of REALTORS. It does the same for the Brantford Regional Real Estate Board. It does not take members of its own.
Two boards. They are the Cornerstone Association of REALTORS and the Brantford Regional Real Estate Board. ITSO says all of their listing data is in the ITSO system. On October 14, 2026, ITSO's counter showed 16,339 active listings.
Yes. KAREA, NAR, OMDREB, NBARA, WITAAR and OnePoint left or were leaving in January 2025, says REM. ITSO said it would remove LSTAR's old data in June 2026. The others' old data comes off by the end of 2026.
No. TRREB runs its own system, called PropTx. ITSO runs Matrix for Cornerstone and Brantford. They are two different MLS systems in Ontario. An ITSO feed and a TRREB feed are not the same.
Yes. ITSO does not offer direct membership. You get access through Cornerstone or BRREA. Your Broker of Record or Bridge Authority must open the EULA first. Then a REALTOR can ask for a feed in Bridge.
ITSO publishes one fee. A VOW feed "may trigger a $1,500 + HST yearly brokerage fee if that fee is not already paid." The Broker of Record gets the bill. ITSO does not publish an IDX fee. Ask [email protected].
Yes. ITSO says its WebAPI follows the RESO standard. It sends data through Bridge. RESO's list shows ITSO as Passed for Data Dictionary 1.7. It shows Passed for Web API Core 2.0.0 too. That means ITSO passed the tests. RESO does not list ITSO as certified.
Only on a VOW. ITSO says the VOW feed has two years of sold prices. Visitors must sign up and log in to see them. A public IDX page shows only IDX Content, so it can't show sold prices.
The MLS Import list of feeds names ITSO via Bridge. Join Cornerstone or BRREA first. Your broker signs the EULA (ITSO KB201). ITSO adds each vendor by hand (ITSO KB203). Ask [email protected] who approves your feed. The plugin costs $49 a month after a 30-day free trial. It works with any theme.
