RAA members use ROAM MLS. MLS Import lists RAA twice. Ask us which entry fits your feed. Then add your credentials and import.
Dues go to RAA. They are separate from the MLS Import plan: $49/month or $504/year, with a 30-day free trial.
The REALTOR Association of Acadiana (RAA) is a local REALTOR group in Lafayette, Louisiana. It is one of five owners of ROAM MLS, LLC (ROAM FAQ). RAA sells ROAM MLS access to its members. In RESO's list, RAA's record points to ROAM MLS as its MLS (RESO). You join RAA to get that access.
RAA was founded in 1947 as the Lafayette Real Estate Board. A few brokers joined forces. They agreed to follow the Code of Ethics. The MLS launched in 1960. Agents picked up printed MLS sheets at the old Evangeline Hotel. They added them to an MLS book. In 1961 the group took the name Lafayette Board of REALTORS. In 2015 it became the REALTOR Association of Acadiana. RAA says the new name fits "the six parishes it serves" (RAA Who We Are).
Five groups own ROAM MLS: the Bayou Board of REALTORS, the Greater Baton Rouge AOR, the Greater Central Louisiana AOR, the New Orleans Metropolitan AOR, and RAA (ROAM FAQ, RAA ROAM page). RAA has a seat on the ROAM Board of Managers (RAA board). RAA members work in Flexmls (RAA 2026 packet).
Join RAA and pay dues. You get your MLS login at an appointment. You need an active LREC license. You get a 9-digit NRDS ID that starts with 4400 (RAA packet).
This is for REALTORS who belong to another group. The broker joins first, as an MLS Only member. Use the Participant Application. Send a Letter of Good Standing with it (Participant form).
Agents who are not the broker use the Subscriber Application. A Letter of Good Standing is a must here too (Subscriber form).
ROAM says its MLS "is only available through one of the ROAM MLS participating associations" (ROAM). RAA is one of them. RAA offers MLS Only to REALTORS who belong to another group (RAA Become a Member).
Who can run an IDX site? ROAM Rule 18.2 says IDX is open "to all MLS participants who are REALTORS" who work in brokerage and let others show their listings (ROAM Rules v2.2.2). A participant is the broker. Are you an agent? Ask your broker first.
Agents can still have their own IDX site. Rule 18.3.5 lets agents show IDX data on their own websites. But it needs the broker's consent and control. So the broker's yes comes first.
Affiliates are a third group. RAA names lenders, home inspectors and title firms. It names home warranty firms, insurance agents and lawyers too. RAA does not say affiliates get MLS data. Ask RAA.
Orientation runs every other month. You must finish it within the next two classes after you join. See the RAA packet for dates.
When you join RAA, you also join Louisiana REALTORS and NAR. Your license is a separate thing. LREC is not part of RAA. It has its own rules and fees. Flexmls training starts at orientation. After that, RAA runs classes on Flexmls, Transaction Desk and CRS Tax Data. Flexmls also has online video help. Want Supra? It works only through its free phone app, so get the app before your visit.
Send your form. Fill in the new member application. Email it to [email protected].
Book a time. Ellen Benoit sets up your on-boarding visit. RAA works by appointment only. Do not just drop by. The visit takes about one hour. You must do it before orientation.
Pay and sign. At the visit you pay dues and get your MLS login. You sign the MLS Participation Agreement. You can set up Supra eKEY too.
Go to orientation. New Member Orientation is a must. It is a one-day class at the RAA office. It runs 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Stay the full day. No late arrivals.
Coming from another group? Bring your NRDS number and your firm's. Bring both license numbers. Bring proof that your state and NAR dues are paid for the year. Bring proof of NAR Code of Ethics training (RAA FAQ).
RAA publishes these fees and collects them. The MLS fee goes through RAA to ROAM MLS. It is separate from the MLS Import plan we bill: $49/month or $504/year, with a 30-day free trial. A 9% sales tax is added to ROAM MLS fees.
What the $1,439 holds: the sign-up fees, national, state and local dues, a $45 NAR campaign fee and the $600 MLS fee. It also holds two optional lines: $10 Relief Fund and $35 LARPAC (RAA packet). RAA does not say if the sign-up fees apply to members who transfer in. Ask RAA.
RAA has not published broker dues. Ask RAA.

Dues and MLS fees are billed once a year. They are prorated by the month you join. For members, the month comes from your license date. Licensed March 15 but joined in April? You still owe from March (RAA packet).
RAA's packet says you also prepay the next year's dues and MLS fees. Plan for both bills at your visit.
The bylaws say dues are due "on the first day of November" (RAA bylaws). The Subscriber form says MLS Only agents are billed on October 1 (Subscriber form).
Cash (exact amount only), check, or card. Unpaid for one month? The board may suspend you. A late fee may apply too.
Supra eKEY is optional. RAA's packet lists $50 to start, plus $17.52 a month, taken on the 14th (RAA packet). A card is required. It covers ROAM partners in Houma, Baton Rouge and New Orleans for one fee. MLS services include Flexmls, ShowingTime, Agent Dashboard, Cloud CMA, CRS Tax Data, RAA Forms Library and Transaction Desk.
RAA's bylaws name these six parishes (RAA bylaws). ROAM's rules list its MLS Primary Service Area parish by parish (ROAM Rules v2.2.2). Our Greater Baton Rouge page has a summary of the ROAM rules.
You do not have to show the whole area. Rule 18.2.4 lets you pick the listings you show. The choice must use plain facts, such as location, price or type of home.
RAA offers "Flexmls services" to its 1,800+ members (RAA packet). ROAM is moving all users to one Flexmls system built for ROAM. It retires Matrix, Paragon and "legacy Flex" (ROAM).
ROAM targets a Q4 2026 launch. FBS and NOMAR give October 26, 2026 as the go-live date (FBS class page, NOMAR). FBS makes Flexmls. Members move "with their listings, contacts, and saved searches" (ROAM).
RESO lists ROAM MLS as "Certified Current" (RESO). RESO's certification summary for ROAM MLS lists Data Dictionary 2.0 and Web API Core 2.0.0, with Web API reports from Cotality Trestle and FBS Spark (RESO summary). Why does this matter to you? MLS Import reads the RESO Web API. A certified MLS is where an import starts. See our RESO-certified MLS list.
ROAM has a page for tech contacts. It says ROAM is "transitioning off data feeds from our current delivery channels to the SPARK API." It also says: "At this point, there is nothing you need to do" (ROAM CTO page). Flexmls itself is built on the Spark API (FBS). ROAM runs a sign-up form for each brokerage's tech contact. The new Flex adds fields such as PropertySubType and StructureType (NOMAR). Your import may map them.
The MLS Import catalogue lists RAA twice. Each entry uses a different gateway. Both carry RAA's name.
Gateway Bridge
How to start Pick it in the MLS Import setup. Add your credentials.
Gateway Spark
How to start Open a support ticket. Ask us to turn it on.
RESO Web API only. ROAM MLS is certified on Trestle and Spark. ROAM says feeds are moving to Spark (ROAM, RESO summary).
Once your credentials are in, MLS Import runs a first bulk import. After that, an hourly sync can update price, status, photos and other changed fields.
Keep a copy of the signed license. Note which gateway your credentials are for. You will need both if the feed route changes.
What is not posted: RAA and ROAM have no feed request page. They post no feed price and no sign-off steps. No page says if a WordPress plugin vendor fits the license terms. Ask the RAA MLS Director before you pay for a site.
Get MLS access. Join RAA, or become an MLS Only member. You need your MLS login first. See who can get access.
Ask your broker. An IDX site runs under the participant, who is the broker. Rule 18.2.1 says a participant "must notify the MLS" before they show IDX data. The MLS also gets direct access to check the site (ROAM Rules).
Sign the license. Footnote 27 asks for a license deal. The MLS, the IDX participant, the agent if one applies, and any vendor who "hosts, maintains or downloads" the data sign it. Ask RAA MLS Director Amber Miller for it.
Sign up the tech contact. ROAM asks each brokerage's tech contact to "register using the form" on its CTO page. Your broker does this on ROAM's form.
Add your credentials in MLS Import. Ask us first which RAA entry fits your feed. Pick that entry, or open a ticket to turn it on. Then send the credentials ROAM gave you. See the two entries.
ROAM targets a Q4 2026 launch (ROAM). FBS and NOMAR give October 26, 2026 as the go-live date. FBS runs 90-minute intro classes for ROAM users (FBS class page). RAA has posted no date of its own. Use these steps around that date.
ROAM's CTO page says there is "nothing you need to do" on feeds at this point. Ask your broker to sign up your tech contact on ROAM's form. Keep your current credentials. Note their gateway.
Check your site's listings and photos. NOMAR warns that "any large system migration carries the risk of data loss." Feed stopped? Open an MLS Import ticket. Name your gateway. Ask RAA if credentials carry over. RAA and ROAM have not said.

Show your brokerage name in clear type (18.2.7). Each listing shows the listing firm and its phone or email (18.2.12). Each listing shows the listing agent too (18.3.4).
Show the MLS as the source (18.3.7). Add the IDX note (18.3.8). It says the data is for personal, non-commercial use. It says the data is "deemed reliable but is not guaranteed accurate."
Refresh your IDX data at least once every 12 hours (18.2.5). MLS Import runs an hourly sync.
A seller can ask to keep the listing or its address off the web. Honor it (18.2.3). Turn off comments, reviews and value estimates if the seller asks (18.2.8). Delayed marketing listings get no immediate IDX marketing (1.X).
No expired, canceled, hold or withdrawn listings (18.3.12). No seller or occupant contact details (18.3.13). ROAM's IDX rules do not name sold listings. Sold data shows up in the VOW rules (19.1d). Ask ROAM before you plan public sold pages.
The MLS sets how many listings a visitor can get. The floor is 500 listings, or 50% of them if that is fewer (18.3.9). Co-branding is presumed fair when your logo and contact are bigger than any third party's (18.3.16).
Fines: moderate $100, severe $500. A hearing costs $300 to file. You get it back if the ruling goes your way (ROAM fine schedule v2.2.2).
Rule 18.2.2 says IDX listings are for display only. It does not make you block search engines from indexing them. Rule 11.3 says that if your MLS access ends, the MLS may ask you to return all listing data, images included. Plan to take the imported listings off your site if that happens (ROAM Rules v2.2.2).
A VOW site (Section 19) has its own rules. It refreshes at least every 3 days and needs users to sign up. Our Greater Baton Rouge page has a summary of the ROAM rules.
RAA is one of five owners of ROAM MLS. RAA offers MLS services through ROAM MLS. In RESO's list, RAA's record points to ROAM MLS as its MLS. You join RAA, and RAA bills your MLS fee. ROAM sets the rules and runs the platform. RAA members work in Flexmls.
The feed comes from ROAM MLS. RESO lists ROAM MLS as Certified Current. RESO's certification summary for ROAM MLS lists Data Dictionary 2.0 and Web API Core 2.0.0, with Web API reports from Cotality Trestle and FBS Spark. ROAM says its feeds are moving to the Spark API.
Yes. MLS Import lists RAA under two entries: "via Bridge" and "via Spark." The Spark entry needs a support ticket to turn on. Before you build, open a ticket and ask which listings each entry returns.
RAA's bylaws name six parishes. They are Lafayette, Iberia, St. Martin, Acadia, St. Landry and Vermilion. ROAM's rules list its MLS Primary Service Area parish by parish.
A REALTOR member pays $600 a year for MLS Services, plus 9% tax. MLS Only brokers and agents pay $675 a year, plus 9% tax. The fee is lower if you join later in the year. RAA's packet says that if you join after Sep 30, you prepay next year too. Confirm at RAA.
Per RAA, only as an MLS Only member. You must belong to another REALTOR group. Your broker joins first with the Participant Application. Agents then use the Subscriber Application. Both forms need a Letter of Good Standing.
Yes, with the broker's consent. ROAM Rule 18.3.5 lets agents show IDX data on their own websites. The broker keeps consent and control. The broker also tells the MLS before the site shows IDX data. So talk to your broker first. Then ask the RAA MLS Director for the license form.
ROAM's IDX rules ban expired, canceled, hold and withdrawn listings. ROAM's IDX rules do not name sold listings. Sold data shows up in the VOW rules, for users who sign up. Ask ROAM before you plan public sold pages.
It's $49 a month or $504 a year. You get a 30-day free trial. It works with any WordPress theme. It syncs every hour. Since version 7.2, MLS Import can connect more than one MLS. ROAM Rule 18.2.10 lets you mix ROAM listings only with MLSs where your office also holds participation rights.
Join RAA and get your MLS login. Then connect it to WordPress with MLS Import.
