The Idyllwild MLS is now run by its brokers. See how to join it, what it costs, and how to put its listings on your own WordPress site.
30-day free trial, then $49 per month.
The MLS has a new owner. Its own About page says the Idyllwild Association of REALTORS used to control it. That board was dissolved in 2026. Control then passed to the brokers in the MLS. The page says: "Starting April 2, 2026 the MLS is now broker owned and controlled." The new MLS Bylaws took effect on that same day. The new MLS Rules say "Adopted: April 2, 2026" too.
The bylaws call it a "Private Multiple Listing Service." The Voting Brokers control it. No REALTOR group owns it. No single legal entity owns it either.
What does this mean for you? No association runs the MLS now. The bylaws do not list association membership as a need. You join the MLS itself, at idyllwildmls.com. The MLS says most of its members still belong to C.A.R. and NAR. They keep the same ethics rules.
The association's own 2017 site said it formed in 1979. A July 2018 Town Crier column called that year the group's 40th.
RealtyPro Solutions, the MLS provider, is a firm in St. George, Utah. An August 2018 Town Crier column credits its data to "Idyllwild MLS and RealtyProMLS." The 2026 bylaws name RealtyPro Solutions as the MLS provider.
You may search one name and find another. Here is what each one means.

The bylaws (Article III) say who can be in the MLS. Brokers, agents, lenders and appraisers need a California license. Unlicensed office staff do not.
Licensed California brokers can join. Each member office in the service area has a Voting Broker: its principal broker. Each Voting Broker has one vote (Article V).
Licensed California agents can join. They come in through their office. The office's principal broker signs the Service Agreement with the MLS provider (Article III).
Licensed California lenders and appraisers can join too. Appraisers have their own monthly fee (see the fees below).
The assistants, employees and office staff of these members can also take part (Article III).
A valid California DRE license for the user type.
Follow the MLS rules, with good faith intent to cooperate.
Pay the required fees, fines too.
Real estate licensees must follow the NAR Code of Ethics.
The bylaws list these four needs. REALTOR membership is not one of them. Unlicensed office staff are exempt from the list.
IDX lets members show each other's listings online. Rule 13 offers it to licensed agents and brokers who let others show theirs. Any broker may opt out. Vendors need a data content agreement. Lenders and appraisers are not named.
Fill in the online application. Or call the MLS provider at (800) 992-8045.
The MLS sends you a Service Agreement by DocuSign.
Sign it. Your login comes by email.
The MLS President approves each new office and each new user (Article VI).
Rule 16.7 is the MLS of Choice rule. Under certain conditions, it waives the fees. You must belong to another MLS in good standing. You sign a non-use form. The rule says you "will not use IMLS in any way."
RESO's registry lists Idyllwild MLS (ID M00000824) as "Passed Current." It passed testing for Web API Core 2.0.0 and Data Dictionary 1.7, but RESO has not published it as certified.
RESO sets the data rules that MLS feeds use. The Web API is how a site asks for listings. The Data Dictionary names the fields, like price and beds.
What does Passed Current mean? RESO's certificates page says the system "has passed technical testing." But the organization, here the MLS, "has not yet accepted those results to be published as certified." For an MLS, both the Web API and the Data Dictionary results must pass and be accepted. Only then is the certificate published.
RESO does not name a technology provider for this MLS. These are RESO's records as of October 2026.
The platform is RealtyProMLS.
The MLS provider runs all data feeds to vendors (Rule 13).
Each vendor needs a data content agreement with IMLS (Rule 13).
Each site and each URL must be approved by the MLS in writing before listings show (Rule 13.1).
The MLS provider handles these with DocuSign. You ask for them through the MLS (Rule 13.1).
The President approves vendor agreements and IDX Disclosures by DocuSign (Article VI). An IDX Disclosure tells the MLS each site and URL that will show its listings, so the MLS can approve it (Rule 13.1).

Idyllwild is on MLS Import's MLS list. We turn it on when you open a support ticket. The plugin asks for one credential: an MLS token. The MLS provides the token.
The order: join the MLS. Then open a support ticket. Our support team tells you which approval and credentials you need. The MLS approves your site. Then you add your MLS token. MLS Import uses the RESO Web API.
Call Tiffany Raridon, MLS President, at (951) 852-9661. Or call the MLS provider at (800) 992-8045.
1. Which Web API address and token do I get? Who gives them to me?
2. Does my site need an IDX Disclosure, a vendor agreement, or both?
3. Is there a fee for the feed?
4. How long does approval take?
5. Who signs: the broker or the site owner?
6. Which listings does the feed carry? Only IMLS listings, or others too?
You pay MLS fees to the MLS side. They are not part of MLS Import. We bill MLS Import on its own, at $49 per month after a 30-day free trial. The amounts below are from the MLS application page, under "Membership Requirements / Fees." We read it on October 18, 2026.
Article VII of the bylaws says IMLS "is not charging any fees for MLS Service at this time." It keeps the right to charge later. The application page lists the amounts above. Ask the MLS which fees apply to you.
Public pages show no fee for an IDX or data feed. Ask the MLS before you build (see the questions above).
Never share your login. Rule 1 says this leads to a fine of up to $1,000 each time. It also leads to suspension, removal from the MLS, or both. To pay fees, log in to the MLS and pay online.
Fees can change. Confirm at https://www.idyllwildmls.com/contact-application.htm.
These rules come from the IMLS MLS Rules, adopted April 2, 2026. We read the MLS Rules and Bylaws on October 18, 2026. Rule 13.2 binds every member. It binds any vendor who builds a site for them too.
Show "Data Source: Idyllwild MLS," the MLS number and the price. Show the listing office and agent, with a phone or email. A thumbnail view with a clear link to a full page can skip these.
Print the MLS disclaimer. It starts: "All listing data obtained from this source is owned and copyrighted by: RealtyPro Solutions, LLC (Idyllwild MLS)." It says the data is for personal, non-commercial use. It says all facts are estimates to check.
Never show Private Remarks or How to Show. Use agent contact details only so people can reach the agent about that listing. Do not share them.
Send each buyer or seller inquiry only to current active IMLS members. Pick listings by objective criteria. Never filter listings by pay or buyer office commission.
Each page must show the name of an active member's office. It must show without scrolling, on all devices. Members may not imply they run an MLS.
The MLS must approve each site and each URL in writing before any listing shows. See the feed section above.
Do not change the data. Do not combine it with data from another source. Listings from other MLSs you belong to may show too. Keep other added facts separate and sourced. Show only the listing's own photos. Keep watermarks.
Pay offers are discouraged. Show them only for your site's own office. Label them "Buyer Office Commission (BOC)" or "Buyer Broker Commission (BBC)." Add: "Offers of compensation are negotiable and are not set by law or by the MLS."
Refresh all data, photos too, at least every 48 hours. Daily is better. Remove a listing within 7 days after it leaves the feed. Act on a takedown notice within 3 days.
Sold listings may be in IDX data and may show in public. A listing marked "No" for Internet Display is left out.
A broker opts out of IDX by written notice to the MLS Provider and members. Then no one in that office may show other members' listings. Other members may not show that office's listings either.
If your brokerage site shows a home in the service area, that counts as public marketing. IDX and VOW sites count too. The listing broker must then submit the listing to the MLS within one business day.
BBO (Brokerage Back Office) data is MLS data for use inside your brokerage. Do not scrape or export it. Single BBO listings may not show in public. Grouped BBO stats shown in public must follow Rule 12.2.
Grouped stats are totals and trends, not single listings. Members may use them in ads. Do not name other members or offices. Do not mislead. State the source and the time period the claims cover.
A VOW (Virtual Office Website) lets your clients sign in to search listings. It is allowed. Each client needs a login. A VOW needs its own approval.
The bylaws (Article IV) set the service area: "Idyllwild, Mountain Center, and surrounding areas in Riverside County, California." The About page adds that Idyllwild is in the San Jacinto Mountains. Members may also take listings outside the area.
The bylaws name no other towns. Pine Cove, Garner Valley and Anza are not named. No ZIP list is posted. Want one of those towns on your site? Ask the MLS first.
An agent can belong to more than one MLS. Rule 13.2 h lets a member mix in listings from other MLSs they belong to.
The Idyllwild MLS pages state no data share with CRMLS or any desert MLS. They state no shared access or dual-listing deal either. Public pages do not say which listings the Idyllwild feed carries. Ask the MLS before you promise more.
Need another MLS too? MLS Import 7.2 can put more than one MLS on one site in import mode. How many depends on your plan.
Where the data goes IMLS sends listing data to select third parties for public display. This is called syndication. The Voting Brokers choose who gets it (Article V). Each listing has its own syndication choice (Rule 12.1).
No. The MLS says the association board was dissolved in 2026. Since April 2, 2026, the MLS has been broker owned and controlled. Its name now is the Idyllwild Multiple Listing Service (IMLS). You join the MLS itself, at idyllwildmls.com.
It passed RESO's tests. RESO's registry lists Idyllwild MLS as "Passed Current." Web API Core 2.0.0 and Data Dictionary 1.7 passed testing. RESO has not published it as certified. Public pages show no Web API address, so ask the MLS.
The application page lists $19 per agent per month, with a $25 monthly minimum per office. An office pays a $250 one-time setup fee. Appraisers pay $14.95 per month. The bylaws say IMLS charges no fees "at this time." So ask the MLS which fees apply to you.
Licensed California brokers, agents, lenders and appraisers can join, with their staff. IDX is for licensed agents and brokers who let other members show their listings. A vendor needs a data content agreement with IMLS.
Public pages show no fee for an IDX or data feed. Ask the MLS President, Tiffany Raridon, at (951) 852-9661. You can also call the MLS provider at (800) 992-8045.
Rule 13.2 l says at least every 48 hours, and daily is better. A listing must come off your site within 7 days after it leaves the feed. MLS Import syncs every hour.
Yes, the rules allow it. Rule 13 says sold listings may be in IDX data and may be shown in public. Listings marked "No" for Internet Display are not in IDX feeds. They may not show on IDX sites.
The MLS pages state no data share with CRMLS or any desert MLS. They do not say which listings the feed carries, so ask the MLS. Need another MLS too? MLS Import 7.2 can connect more than one MLS to one site in import mode.
No. MLS Import works with any WordPress theme. Four real estate themes go deeper: WpResidence, WpEstate, Houzez and Real Homes. It costs $49 per month after a 30-day free trial. Open a support ticket to turn on Idyllwild.
Join the MLS first. Then open an MLS Import support ticket. Once the MLS approves your site, add your MLS token.
The form on the MLS contact page goes to both the IMLS President and the MLS provider.
