The Featured Property block shows one listing in a large format, in one of six designs. It is a hero element: a listing of the week on a home page, or the anchor of a landing page.
You name the property explicitly. There is no filter, because the block shows exactly one listing.
What you can set
Property ID is the listing to show. Design is a number from 1 to 6.
- Design 1, photo with a price badge and status tags, and a title and specification bar overlapping the bottom edge of the image.
- Design 2, photo with the title and price overlaid at the bottom. The most compact of the six.
- Design 3, a horizontal split with the photo on the left and the title, price, blurb and specifications on the right.
- Design 4, a full bleed photo with a dark gradient, a Featured Property label, a large title and a discover more link.
- Design 5, a full bleed photo with a floating white content box holding the price, title, specifications and blurb.
- Design 6, a full bleed photo with a gradient, a status badge, and the title, specifications and price over the image.
Every design draws from the same listing data, so switching between them changes only the layout.
As a shortcode

In the block editor, add Featured Property from the MLSImport group and set the ID and design in the sidebar inspector.
In Elementor, drag Featured Property from MLSImport Widgets. The Style tab covers the title, the price, the specification row and the Featured flag separately, so the hero can be tuned to your palette without CSS.
Pick the design from the photo you have, not the other way round. Designs 4, 5 and 6 put text over the image, which needs a wide photograph with a quiet area. Design 3 is the safe one for listings whose lead photo is busy.
If it does not work
- Nothing renders. The ID does not point at a published property. Confirm it under MLS Properties.
- The block disappeared after a re-import. A property removed from the MLS and reimported can receive a new WordPress ID, which leaves the block pointing at nothing. Re-enter the ID.
- No photo shows. That listing has no images in the feed. The design still renders, with the text area filling the space.
- The text sits over a busy part of the photo. Change to a design that keeps text off the image, such as design 3.
Frequently asked questions
Can the block pick the featured listing automatically?
Not on its own. For an automatic hero, use a Property Slider with the count set to one and a sort, which gives you a newest or highest priced listing that updates itself.
Where do I find the property ID?
Open the property under MLS Properties and read the post number in the address bar. That is the WordPress ID, not the MLS number.
Does it show the agent?
The designs that include an agent face use the agent photo when the listing is linked to an agent profile. A listing showing the MLS feed’s own agent has no profile photo to draw on, so that area is left out.
Can I show two featured properties side by side?
Yes. Place two blocks in a two column layout, each with its own ID and design. They are independent.
