The Property Slider block shows selected listings as a swipeable carousel. It is the home page block: a handful of properties in a strip that takes one row rather than a full grid.
It caps at the number you set and has no pager, so pick the listings deliberately rather than pointing it at your whole catalogue.
What you can set
How many is the cap, defaulting to 6.
Sort offers Default, Newest, Price low to high and Price high to low. Combined with the cap this is what builds a newest six or a top six by price strip.
Explicit IDs takes a comma separated list of property IDs. Fill it in and the slider shows exactly those, in that order, ignoring the filter and the sort.
The filter accepts every searchable value: city, state, ZIP, area, county, high school district, status, property type, listing type, label, features, keywords, price range, beds, baths, living area, lot size, year built, garage, stories, maximum HOA fee, maximum days on market, subdivision, listed after and agent.

In the block editor, add Property Slider from the MLSImport group. The count, the sort, the explicit list and the filter are in the sidebar inspector.
In Elementor, drag Property Slider from MLSImport Widgets. The same options sit on the Content tab, and the Style tab gives typography, colour and spacing control over the card price, title and specification line.
Use the Label taxonomy for a curated strip rather than a list of IDs. Tag the properties you want with a label such as Featured, then filter the slider to it. Labels are never overwritten by the import, and updating the strip becomes a matter of ticking a box on a property instead of editing the page.
If it does not work
- Nothing renders. The filter matched nothing, or every ID in the explicit list points at a property that no longer exists. A slider with nothing to show outputs nothing at all.
- Fewer cards than expected. The cap is doing its job, or fewer listings matched than you asked for. Both are normal.
- The filter appears to be ignored. The explicit ID list wins over the filter. Clear it to go back to filtering.
- The slider does not slide. Another plugin is loading a conflicting slider library. Check the browser console for a JavaScript error on the page.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I find a property’s ID?
Open the property under MLS Properties and read the post number in the browser address bar while editing it. That is the ID the block expects, not the MLS number.
How many cards show at once?
As many as fit the container width, and the rest are a swipe or an arrow click away. On a phone that is usually one, on a wide screen three or four.
Can I use it in a sidebar?
Yes, through the shortcode in a shortcode widget. In a narrow column it shows one card at a time, which works well as a featured listings widget.
Does the slider paginate?
No. It shows the number you set and stops. When you need paging, use the Property List block instead.
