You gotta keep learning if real estate’s your thing. Books are where its at for learning stuff. There’s tons of awesome real estate books out there, plus other books that kinda connect to real estate topics. I’m gonna share my top ten picks for real estate agents, whether your new or been around forever.

1. The Millionaire Real Estate Agent by Gary Keller

Yeah I know everyone talks about this one, but listen up. The Millionaire Real Estate Agent is totally worth all the hype. Me personally, I’ve gone through it multiple times in my career and keep coming back to it because it shows you exactly how to build up a real estate business from scratch.

The worst thing I see happening is when agents don’t get that you can’t build a million-dollar business overnight. And like, so many of us get frustrated when we put time and money into stuff that isn’t making money right away. Been there done that!

This book helps you see the whole picture so you don’t waste your time and money on useless stuff that won’t get you anywhere. Keller shows you where to focus so you can get to your goals faster.

2. Your First Year in Real Estate by Dirk Zeller

Some agents spend way too much time reading and getting ready to be agents that they forget to actually do something! Your First Year in Real Estate really clicked with me cause it’s perfect for people who are done with prep and ready to jump in.

Everything Zeller teaches you can actually use, especially when you’re just starting. It talks about everything – finding a broker, getting clients, making cold calls, marketing stuff, and finding leads – plus it works no matter what the market’s doing. Every new agent should definitely check this one out.

3. Six Steps to Seven Figures by Pat Hyben

In Six Steps to Seven Figures, Hyben just lays it all out super clear. He’s all about this thing called the “path of least resistance” and shows you which path to take, why its the right one, and how to crush it. What I really dig is how Hyben gets into lead generation, networking, and marketing stuff that’ll grow your business. There’s this bonus chapter about using your time right that’s super helpful.

The tips Hyben drops in his book and podcasts help you focus on what you’re good at and get the right people around you. Like, his “House List” thing teaches you how to build this awesome database of old clients who’ll keep coming back.

4. The Conversion Code by Chris Smith

With all these easy tools we got nowadays, you better know your online marketing game. The Conversion Code by Chris Smith is another classic that breaks down social media lead generation like nobody’s business.

What’s cool about this book is it ain’t just social media stuff. Smith teaches you the whole online marketing deal. His strategies work for your website, emails, social media, everything. Smith just tells it like it is, no fancy stuff, so you can build an online presence that actually works.

5. The One Thing by Gary Keller

If your to-do list is making your head spin, you need The One Thing in your life. Gary Keller and Jay Papasan show you how to figure out what matters most so you get more done everyday.

This book’s perfect if your like me – someone who sees something and just wants to do it right away. I’m kinda impulsive and hate wasting time, so I jump between tasks without finishing anything. Keller’s time management stuff and goal-setting tricks helped me stop doing that and actually finish things.

6. YouTube for Real Estate Agents by Karen Carr

If your serious about being online, you gotta read this book. Karen Carr’s YouTube for Real Estate Agents tells you everything about using YouTube to get leads. She covers all of it – planning videos, recording them, building your brand – and gives you stuff you can start doing right now.

Video marketing’s like the best thing we got right now. You don’t need tons of content to do good on YouTube, but you gotta be consistent and smart about what you make. Carr’s book shows any agent how to step up their content game.

7. The Miracle Morning for Real Estate Agents by Hal Elrod and Michael J. Maher

Real estate’s tough, no doubt about it. Your working with clients, doing marketing, paperwork, networking – it’s a lot. If your not careful, your health gets pushed aside. That’s why The Miracle Morning for Real Estate Agents hit different for me. It teaches you how to start your day right.

The Miracle Morning’s got this proven formula for getting more done, feeling less stressed, and other good stuff. I’m all about that “me time” in the morning now. You can make the strategies work for you, so it’s good for pretty much anyone.

8. The Book of Yes by Kevin Ward

If dealing with objections freaks you out or you doubt yourself, grab this book. The Book of Yes by Kevin Ward’s like having a mentor in your pocket who’s ready to help with any problem. Ward thinks most objections are just people being scared and shows you how to handle that stuff like a pro.

One super cool thing about this book is it keeps getting better. Kevin’s always adding new stuff, scripts, and examples when you buy it. If you run into something the book doesn’t cover, you can ask Kevin directly and he’ll tell you how to handle it. How awesome is that?

9. Your First 365 Days by Shelley Zavitz

If you haven’t hit your one-year mark in real estate yet, you should check out Your First 365 Days. It’s not super long and the chapters are quick, so you can read it fast. But it’s actually a workbook that gives you real stuff you can do in your first year.

The first half helps you set everything up – your why, your brand, your business plan, and marketing stuff. Then the second half gives you 52 weekly things to do that’ll help you succeed.

10. Sold by David Green

Sold by David Green’s pretty short, but it’s packed with good stuff about building your brand and selling better. Green tells stories that make it feel like your learning from someone who’s been there. Every chapter’s got a different lesson with real examples and stuff you can actually use.

Even if you’ve been selling houses for a while, this book’s got tricks you can use. Like, Green shows you how to build trust with people so you can close more deals without stressing. His advice makes sense and feels real.
