What Is the WPResidence API? (1 minute)

If you’re building with WordPress for the real estate industry, the WPResidence API can change the way you work. It’s a tool that lets your website talk to other apps and services.

With it, you can import data from other sources, build a mobile app that connects to your listings, sync with CRMs, or even automate custom workflows.

Example Routes & Case Study (2 minutes)

In this video, you’ll discover what the WPResidence API is, how it can power projects, and why it’s so flexible. I’ll show you two example routes, then we’ll go hands-on with a case study—importing RentCast data into a WPResidence site—so you can see the before-and-after results in action.

WPRentals API Workflow (3 minutes)

If you build short-term rental sites, WPRentals plus an API workflow can level up your listings fast. Today, I’ll demo what that looks like: two API routes, then a real case study—importing guest reviews from LiteAPI into WPRentals.

First, what’s an API? Think of it as a bridge. It lets your WPRentals site talk to other services—so you can import reviews, sync availability, update prices, power a mobile app, or automate tasks.

Step 1: Mapping Reviews

We’ll read listing data from WPRentals so incoming reviews map to the right properties.

Step 2: Pulling Reviews

Next, we’ll pull reviews from LiteAPI’s endpoint—mapping fields like rating, text, author, and date—and create new reviews inside WPRentals, linked to the correct listings.

By the end, you’ll see a clean before-and-after: real guest reviews synced straight into WPRentals via API.

Conclusion (30 seconds)

Here’s what we covered today:

We introduced the WPResidence and WPRentals APIs, explored example routes, and ran two case studies—RentCast data sync for WPResidence, and LiteAPI guest reviews sync for WPRentals.

With APIs, your WordPress sites become more than static pages—they connect, automate, and scale like real apps.
