How to use MLS Import with BridgeMLS

As a member of BridgeMLS you can access MLS data through a RESO Web API using the Bridge Interactive platform. There is no fee required.  

  1. Choose a real estate theme that is compatible with MLS Import:  WpResidence, WpEstate, Houzez or Real Homes.
  2. Open your account with Bridge Interactive and get the API Credentials.
  3. Subscribe to MLS Import plugin, install it and add the API credentials. Connect to the BridgeMLS dataset.
  4. You can choose which listings to import. MLS Import will successfully create and sync the only active listings from BridgeMLS.

How to get BridgeMLS Web API credentials?

Follow these steps to get the RESO API Credentials from BridgeMLS:

  1. Register in Bridge Interactive:  https://bridgedataoutput.com/register
  2. Verify your email to get the account activated.
  3. Login in Bridge Interactive: https://bridgedataoutput.com/login
  4. From Data Access section request API access from MLS PIN.
  5. Wait to be approved and you can start using MLS Import plugin.

Formerly known as East Bay’s first Multiple Listing Service, BridgeMLS is the result of 25 years of relentless innovation. 

Established in 1994, bridgeMLS is one of the largest 100 MLS’s in the country that provides 80% coverage of data & listings in California. It provides the real estate community with comprehensive property information through a wide variety of technology and support services.

The service covers multiple counties in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, including Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties

BridgeMLS can be accessed by Real Estate Brokers, Agents, and Appraisers who are licensed by the California Department of Real Estate. 

BridgeMLS members and subscribers take advantage of the most innovative standards as the MLS is RESO certified.

How to become a member of BridgeMLS?

Before becoming a member of bridgeMLS you would have to earn your license from the California Department of Real Estate first.

 It has the below requirements:  

  1. You must be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Complete 135 Hours of Pre-Licensing Education 
  3. Pass the Course Final Exam
  4. Pass the California salesperson licensing exam.
  5. Choose a sponsoring broker.
  6. Complete the Licensing Application
  7.  Activate License

There are 3 options you can choose from: 

  • Real Estate Brokers Participants
  • Real Estate Agent
  • Appraiser Participant

For any of the above membership/subscriber options is required to complete an application and provide additional documentation.
